Our brains are very good at many things. One area where they're not so great is clear thinking when we are triggered.
Self-regulation is the ability to understand and manage your own behaviour and reactions. Different strategies will be discussed, practiced or examples given and the strength of each tool in helping shift one's state will be discussed. You will better understand what works for you and what options are available.
