BEGINNER INVERSION WORKSHOP

Want to learn how to get upside down? Join Sarah in this 2.5 hr workshop, to play with getting in and out of inversions such as Sisasana (Headstand), Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Stand), and Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand).

We will be exploring:

  • The anatomy of Inversions

  • Specific flow sequences and exercises to warm up the body and breath

  • How to use props, partners and the wall to help lift us off the ground

  • The many subtle benefits that practicing inversions will bring

We will finish our workshop with Pranayama, and a deep Savasana with an optional head massage to fully integrate our practice. Be prepared to have a laugh, fall over, get back up, and learn something new!
