Join Haidee and learn to unwind tight and tense areas of your body, and find new ways of moving with our 4 week Somatics course.
Somatics is movement based therapy that encourages well-being through releasing tight and uncomfortable areas in your body, improving posture and releasing old and new 'niggles'.
How does it work? Your movement patterns are learnt at a young age, and as we get older we can find they're no longer serving the body as well as they could be. In Somatics, we do slow, repetitive movements that form new and powerful patterns. These movements are often enjoyable and feel good to do!
By moving slowly, systematically and with attention, your brain listens and form these new and powerful connections. These new connections replace the old, faulty patterns that can contribute to pain, poor posture, inefficient breathing and low energy levels.
Dates and time: Wednesday nights 6-7pm from November 14 to December 5
