Making yoga and mindfulness fun for kids
This 45 min class is everything parents could hope for in an after school activity - a wonderful creative outlet for imaginative minds, non-competitive physical fitness and a safe place to develop great social skills. Children get the tools to build, develop, and maintain a healthy body and happy mind.
Kids today lead busy and exciting lives! It is not only important to make sure that they are getting lots of physical activity and learning new things, but also to help them develop positive coping mechanisms that they are able to apply to situations in their daily lives.
Children should wear clothes they can move in comfortably, being mindful of zips and anything that could cause harm. Leggings or tracksuit pants are recommended instead of skirts (or leggings under skirts). Remove any sharp hair pins or jewellery, and bring a drink bottle.
